ArtWalk on the Bay - A Fine Arts Festival
Extraordinary Art. Extraordinary Setting.
Our mission is to create an environment designed to introduce Southern Californians to original art, to provide attendees with the opportunity to meet the artists and to purchase art directly from the artists. The festival celebrates art of all kinds through partnerships with various community groups representing both visual and performing arts.

New Location for ArtWalk on the Bay in 2010

The producers of ArtWalk on the Bay are thrilled to announce our new venue for 2010 and beyond. The Waterfront Park at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront is a 4.3 acre grassy waterfront venue surrounded by thousands of parking spaces to accommodate art patrons (virtual tour at left, click and drag to see a 360 degree view of the area). The park is completely flat and easily accessible for load-in and out. The park's topography allows us to create a terrific footprint with our high quality tents, so that visitors will be able to take in each and every artist exhibit on an easy walking path on the flat grassy space. Partnering with Hilton Hotels on this event affords many exciting benefits, from food and beverage provided in an upscale food court setting, to special room rates for artists at several nearby Hilton properties.

Arts Month San Diego

Artists Turn Recycled SDG&E Meters into Art!
Prizes for Winning ArtWork! ArtWalk on the Bay sponsor SDG&E has been replacing old meter devices around the county with new Smart Meters. The used meters are accumulating, and more than 12 artists have taken on the challenge of creating art pieces from the old meters. Artwork will be on display at ArtWalk on the Bay and prizes will be awarded to the top 3 creations. Click here for more info.

Art Reach
Launched in 2007, ArtReach is the brainchild of the team that produces Mission Federal ArtWalk and ArtWalk on the Bay. ArtReach brings teaching artists into elementary schools throughout San Digo County into to provide high quality visual art education.  ArtReach, a not-for-profit organization primarily focuses on schools that have little or no art education resources.  ArtReach needs your support to allow it to thrive.
